About Surface in Design
Our Electric Barbecue Grill has been designed in response to a market filled with over-styled, throw-away products.
Our aim was to design a premium electric grill with simplified functionality and increased material quality. A grill designed to function properly and to be suitable for all targets. Although our process was driven by surface and form design - by utilising standard production techniques the grill has been designed for low cost production.

We analyse every surface to give character to a structure.
At gang we like to validate ergonomics and experiment with forms at every stage of the design process.
Early-on; foam models, 3D printing and sketches inform the idea generation step.
Later in the process they help us refine the chosen idea(s).

Through developing the surfaces we have obtained the integration of different functions:
