On January 30, 2026, at Environment Park, the SEASTAR Competence Center was officially inaugurated: a new hub dedicated to the development of advanced technologies and solutions for sustainable energy. This strategic project, supported by the Ministero dell’Ambiente e della Sicurezza Energetica (MASE), involves leading institutions such as Politecnico di Torino and the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), with the aim of strengthening applied research and technology transfer to the production system.
Design Gang curated the setup of the inaugural event, along with the official photo shoot and video production, developing an integrated project capable of translating the Competence Center’s values of innovation, sustainability, and authority into visual and narrative form.
The intervention was designed to engage with the technical architecture of the spaces, enhancing their laboratory nature without overloading their identity. The visual system combined institutional rigor with contemporary impact through: event visuals, a digital save-the-date and branded backdrops, an external flag, informational totems, a green carpet, a 3D-printed SEASTAR logo sign, and a dedicated ribbon-cutting set. Each element was carefully designed to ensure chromatic consistency (blue–green gradient), brand legibility, and strong recognizability in photo and video coverage.
At the same time, we documented the official moments, institutional speeches, and interactions among stakeholders, producing photographic and video content for press and digital communication.
An integrated intervention conceived to transform the inauguration into an experience aligned with the strategic positioning of the SEASTAR Competence Center, strengthening its identity, authority, and visibility.
