Chilab-ITEM is a research lab at Politecnico di Torino, part of the MP4MNT group, focused on advanced packaging technologies for microsystems — basically, making the micro and macro worlds communicate.
We started by analyzing the lab’s identity and research areas, translating complex concepts into a simple, contemporary visual language that speaks innovation without feeling cold or distant.
The logo blends scientific precision with creativity, using clean shapes and colors that evoke the accuracy of the tech world.
The website, on the other hand, was designed to clearly and smoothly showcase the lab’s activities, highlighting projects and making navigation intuitive and enjoyable.
The result? A cohesive, modern, and recognizable visual identity that reflects Chilab-ITEM’s innovative spirit and its role as a leading player in microsystem research.
