LOV Vanchiglia Open Lab creativity network in the Vanchiglia district presents: LOV NIGHT #3 Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 18 til late night Studios and Offices open their doors at the Vanchiglia district for a night of art, culture, creativity. In Vanchiglia there is something for everybody. In the heart of old Turin, Vanchiglia, previously called "the steam neighbor" as symbol of a working city full of small factories and workshops, is now shaking a new world of creativity. In that small triangle limited by Corso San Maurizio, Corso Regina Margherita and the Po river over fifty studies give life to graphic design, architecture, photography, drama workshops, communication studies and multimedia, another fifty workshops manufacture fabrics, glass, paper, places to restore books and furniture, special business stores which sell used baby products, or choose to abolish any kind of packaging.

AUTOGRILL
Second prize in the Ideas International Competition "design and produce for all". This contest had the objective of promoting the culture of design, that taking into account the needs of everybody provides more accessible spaces for the everyday life in collaboration with the Autogrill Group Italy, Estel and sponsored by the ADI (Industrial Design Association ) and DFA (Design for All Italy).

IL PELLICANO
At the beginning of December, with the opening of the ski season a new clothing and sports equipment store for children will open doors at Prato Nevoso. Design Gang took care of the Interior design and furnishing.

ADI
The Permanent design observatory selected as a publishing feature for the ADI Design Index 2009, the product: CANAVESE CONNEXION. The forthcoming ADI Design Index 2009 is the second volume in the three-year course which prepares the 22nd edition of "Il Compasso d'Oro" (Golden Compass) Award ADI. The award, created in 1954 by "La Rinascente" and then donated to ADI who runs it since 1956, over the years has become the most prestigious recognition of quality design and production of goods, services and systems. For over more than fifty years "Il Compasso d'Oro" has built the largest collection of Historical Design, declared in 2004 "A good of national interest"

TORINO CONNEXION
The Torino Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Design Gang, offers the second edition of TORINO CONNEXION, an event that aims to put design at the service of manufacturing firms in Piedmont, opening new paths for dialogue between the world of production and the world of design. The aim is to support companies in the manufacturing sector to upgrade and innovate their products and production processes, by organizing targeted meetings with the best designers in the area. Supporting collaborations that translate into projects, the Torino Chamber of Commerce provides customized services for national and international promotion.
